Payments and security editor
Elin covers Steam trading safety, crypto cash-outs and skin pricing. She checks every payment claim in our reviews before it goes live.
Elin came to Rust through a Scandinavian community server and stayed for the economy: the way a garage door skin or a limited jacket holds value through wipes still fascinates her. Before writing for RustGamblingReviews she spent several years helping friends recover from phishing links and fake trade bots, which is how she ended up writing the security guides.
She is responsible for anything that touches your money or your Steam account. That means fact-checking the deposit and withdrawal tables in our reviews, testing crypto withdrawals on different networks, and keeping our guides on API key scams and trade holds current with how Steam actually works today.
Her rule of thumb: if a site or a person needs your Steam API key, your password or a remote session, the conversation is already over.
